Freeze vs. burst protection: The burst point is always lower than the freeze point. PG solutions form a slush (not a solid block) when they freeze, so pipes won’t burst until well below the freeze temperature. This gives you a meaningful safety margin.

NovaGlycol offers the lowest per-gallon price across all three certification tiers. Tote pricing saves an additional $0.50–2.50/gal vs. drums. Empty bars indicate the competitor doesn’t offer that specific product.

Known spec gap: NovaGlycol products are rated to 250°F max operating temperature. DOWFROST HD (325°F) and Dynalene PG-XT (350°F) exceed this ceiling. If your system operates above 250°F, verify compatibility before ordering.

USP + Kosher is severely underserved. Only NovaGlycol and TRUEGARD explicitly market USP + Kosher certified inhibited PG heat transfer fluid. This is a meaningful advantage for Kosher food processing and pharmaceutical customers.
